The sun is intense in late September, especially reflecting off the white limestone, so high-SPF sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat are non-negotiable. While the sea is a perfect +25°C (77°F) for swimming, the afternoon NW wind (Majjistral) can make the return boat trip a bit "spirited"—sit in the middle of the boat if you prefer a drier ride. Much quieter than Blue Lagoon. Use the public showers here if they are operational to rinse off the salt.
