✈️ Lisbon, Portugal — May 12–15, 2026

Welcome to a curated architectural pilgrimage through the city of seven hills, where 16th-century Manueline stone-carving meets the high-tech structural expressionism of the future. This journey is designed specifically for two architecture lovers to explore urban renewal, seismic-resistant engineering, and avant-garde waterfront design.

🌤 WEATHER SUMMARY & TIPS:

  • Conditions: Expect pleasant spring warmth with daytime highs of +22°C and evening lows of +13°C. The Atlantic breeze is constant, especially near the river.
  • The "Calçada" Warning: Lisbon’s iconic limestone mosaic pavements (calçada portuguesa) become extremely slippery even with light drizzle. Since there is a 20-30% chance of rain, wear shoes with excellent grip.
  • Golden Hour: With sunset at 20:40, the "blue hour" provides stunning backlighting for the MAAT and Belém Tower.
  • Clothing: Layering is essential. A light windbreaker or stylish trench coat is perfect for the transition from the sunny Baixa streets to the breezy Belém waterfront.
